~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Catholic Charities is focused on caring for the needs of individuals and families in the Diocese of Norwich. These needs are always evolving and we seek to provide the best possible approaches to caring for the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of people.
To this end we have established outstanding partnerships with organizations that specialize in comprehensive mental health services. While we will no longer be a direct provider, our service model will focus on much needed general case counseling to assist people and families in finding and accessing healthcare, including mental health, and basic human needs, including more intensive focus on outreach and triage for the most vulnerable and needy.
We continue to recognize mental health care as an essential need and believe that through strong partnerships with providers we can better meet that need. Increased emphasis on outreach, case management and holistic approaches to human needs is critically needed and Catholic Charities is uniquely positioned to serve this role in partnership with an array of direct service providers of healthcare.
If you would like to speak to an Intensive Case Manager to get a list of Behavioral Health agencies in your area, please contact the location nearest you.
