Catholic Charities would like to express our gratitude to Director William Hackett from the Connecticut Army National Guard Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection for the donation of pallets of bar soap and body wash for residents in need in our communities.
Likewise, we are extremely thankful to Major Timothy Henderson for coordinating the drop off of the products, which will be distributed to individuals and families who are in need of a helping hand throughout Eastern Connecticut.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues on, we have noticed an increase in people requesting basic essentials, and we are constantly working to assist those who are in crisis, or who just need a little help. Our mission to Provide Help and Create Hope within Middlesex, New London, Tolland, and Windham counties is made possible with contributions such as this.
Once again, we would like to thank all involved in this much-appreciated donation to our Intensive Case Management/Emergency Basic Needs Program, and we are grateful for the partnership we have with the CT National Guard. If you or someone you know is struggling and may need assistance, please contact a Catholic Charities office near you to see how we can help.
