The Day Newspaper Delivers Help & Hope this Christmas

Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council 5633 Gives the Gift of Warmth
This December, the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council 5633 generously donated coats for boys, girls men and women who come to Catholic Charities in need. Catholic Charities & Chelsea Groton Foundation Helping Our Community

Thanksgiving Baskets;  Blessing Needy Families in our Community
On Monday, November 18, Catholic Charities welcomed clients and families to their annual Thanksgiving turkey distribution with fixings at our Norwich, Willimantic, and New London offices. The agency distributed turkeys and chickens supplemented with gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, green beans, and crescent rolls to over 220 families. On November 15, 2019, Dr. Christopher Lipinski was invested into the Order of Malta. The investiture took place at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City during the Solemn Mass of Investiture celebrated by Cardinal Se├ín Patrick O’Malley, OFM Cap, Archbishop of Boston.
