Thanksgiving Baskets;  Blessing Needy Families in our Community
On Monday, November 18, Catholic Charities welcomed clients and families to their annual Thanksgiving turkey distribution with fixings at our Norwich, Willimantic, and New London offices. The agency distributed turkeys and chickens supplemented with gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, green beans, and crescent rolls to over 220 families. Catholic Charities' Board Member Dr. Christopher Lipinski Invested into the Order of Malta
On November 15, 2019, Dr. Christopher Lipinski was invested into the Order of Malta. The investiture took place at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City during the Solemn Mass of Investiture celebrated by Cardinal Se├ín Patrick O’Malley, OFM Cap, Archbishop of Boston. Dr. Lipinski was invested with 70 Knights and Dames into the Sovereign Order of Malta, American Association.
