Catholic Charities' 2019 Family Champions Honored at Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies Awards

Catholic Charities Announces Employee of the Year 2019!
Susan Connelly, Employee of the Year 2019! Susan Connelly, Finance Director for Catholic Charities, was recently identified by her colleagues as 2019 Employee of the Year.  Ed Tessman, Executive Director, stated, “Susan’s many contributions and involvement in our program services made her an easy choice for her peers.  She embodies the work and goes above and beyond for those we serve.  I am grateful that she is part of the Catholic Charities’ team.”

St. Agustine & St. John Ladies Guild Baby Shower & Tea to Benefit Catholic Charities
The St. Augustine’s Ladies Guild met on Sunday April 28th in the afternoon for tea and a baby shower.  A baby shower for the pregnant mothers and clients with young children of Catholic Charities. The guild met at St. Augustine in the Church Hall where Ed Tessman, Executive Director of Catholic Charities, thanked them for their help and support.  Not only did the guild present Ed with a table full of basic needs and essentials for any new mother, they presented Catholic Charities with a check for $500 to continue the good work that the Catholic Charities ...

Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women help support Catholic Charities
WILLIMANTIC – The Norwich Diocesan Council of Catholic Women gathered at St. Joseph Church in Willimantic Sunday April 28th in the afternoon for a luncheon and to present staff of Catholic Charities with items collected throughout the Diocese for their Annual Layette Program.
